Mens Vintage Glasses

The disctinction between mens vintage glasses and womens vintage glasses is not as old as it seems. In the early days of vintage eyewear, prior to the 1930s, eyeglass frames were unisex. There was no such thing as mens vintage glasses and womens vintage glasses, there was just eyeglasses. The fact that eyeglasses were plain and simple definitely helped, as there wasn't much to distinguish them. It is only in the 1920's and 1930s when etchings and filgree became popular on vintage eyeglasses that this distinction could be made and there could be seperate designs for womens and mens vintage glasses.
